Fortified Structures began its journey as BiltWise Structures of New Mexico, with a bold vision to redefine how homes are built. In November of 2023, we took a major step forward by acquiring a former bus manufacturing facility in Roswell, NM—a space rich with industrial history and full of potential. Since then, we’ve been steadily transforming it into a state-of-the-art modular home production center, making continuous improvements to support our long-term growth.
After months of preparation, we drove our first nail in June of 2024, marking the beginning of production. Just a few months later, in late September, we celebrated a major milestone by setting our first homes. Today, we have multiple homes on the ground in Roswell, and our impact is already being felt across the region. One of our proudest moments was replacing a family home in Ruidoso that was tragically lost in the 2024 forest fires—a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
Now, Fortified is expanding rapidly across New Mexico and Texas, bringing high-quality, efficient, and sustainable housing solutions to communities in need. Though we’re a startup, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a foundation rooted in innovation, courage, and resilience. From day one, our goal has been to do things the right way—not the easy way—and that commitment shows in every home we build.
As we grow, our production will only get faster and better, driven by a team that believes modular construction isn’t just a trend—it’s the future. We’re proud to be leading the charge toward smarter, more resilient housing for everyone.
